| it has been a while...and what can I say...I'm still alive!
Attended the APS (Association for Psychological Science) convention in D.C. over memorial day weekend (thanks Beth for showing me around...it was great). It was good. Learned lots. First time I've ever been on the east coast (Florida doesn't count :) ). Anyway, now I just started my summer course, Ethics. Its 6 weeks and very, very reading intensive. Its a seminar/discussion type of thing i think but we have papers, discussions, presentations, and about 5 hours of reading everynight. Kick ass! Tonight I had to read the bylaws of APA and articles upon articles about ethics. I guess I should get used to it but it will all be over July 6th thank god!!!
Then...I think Im starting to work on my thesis idea. That is coming up toooooooo quick for my taste. I just got here and now I have to start working on my thesis and in a year maybe start looking for schools...AGAIN!!!! It never ends.
Honestly, not much else to report. Im still working out and dieting. I think i have lost up to 30 lbs as of right now. Hopefully I can't loose much more because I don't want to get myself sick or anything. I think its just that fat from other places on my body is leaving while the fat I want to get rid of is SLOWLY....slowly...going away. Now, I need to get a tan because this hoosier/white trash tan I'm rockin sucks.
Later this summer, my parents want to go to San Fancisco! Never been to the west coast so that should be sweet. And, as always, the perennial trip to the Lake of the Ozarks too. I need to call Hendrix, Gabe, and someone else to come down with us because last year was fun and hopefully this time around will be even better.
I have to get up early so i guess I should sleep. Maybe ill actually update this damn thing more often (its not like anyone reads this right?.....right!?!?)

| Alright...update time. Sorry for such a drought of information on my life. I know everyone was on the edge of their seats...
Officially done with my first semester! WOO HOO! I have to proctor my advisors final tomorrow because she is out of town. How professional of me. Then, Im off to Jewell to go see Spiderman 3 with some of the guys because the only movie theater in town isn't showing it.
I'll be in Warrensburg all summer because I have a class in June.
I've lost 25 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hooray!!!
I've thrown out my back....damn.....
Basically, Im excited to just have some time to meet up with some old friends for a while so I might actually have a social life.
Call me...I would appreciate it!

| What is a man to do when waiting for a cab in Kansas City, MO at 2 am near Troost? Should I be worried about being killed (I didn't think so, but everyone else did...stupid suburb dwellers)? Should I let my friend keep sleeping on the front porch or should I drag his drunk ass inside? Should I sleep in the recliner or on the love seat? Where the hell is the light to the tiniest bathroom...EVER (seriously, you had to sit sideways on the can because if not the door wouldn't close)!!!!!????? All these questions were answered on Saturday night. Lets just say all of us are still alive...no drive bys :)
